What's included
The standard container for most sites
Wheelie bins are the most widely used container for storing and collecting waste paper, cardboard, general refuse and plastics. The lid keeps waste contained, and bins are typically emptied using a rear-end compaction vehicle (RCV) or a compactor fitted with a bin-tipping device.
What goes in them
Waste paper, cardboard, general refuse or plastics — one bin per stream where a site is separating materials for recycling.
Sizes
The standard size is 1100 litres. 500, 660 and 770 litre bins are available by special order for sites tight on space.
Lidded and mobile
The lid keeps waste contained and dry; the wheels mean staff can move a full bin to the collection point without a forklift.
Emptied two ways
On a normal round a rear-end compaction vehicle (RCV) tips the bin. On a high-volume site a compactor fitted with a bin-tipping device empties bins straight into the machine.
Scales with the site
A handful of bins suits a small office; dozens feed a compactor on a distribution centre. The container's the same — only the number and the collection method change.
Part of a wider setup
We supply wheelie bins alongside dolavs, flat-pack pallet boxes and stillages for loose material, and open-top containers or a compactor where volumes grow.
