Steve Oliphant
CEO
A lifelong waste paper man, Steve has owned and run several of the most successful recycling businesses in South London and Kent. You'll find him either poring over the group's P&L and balance sheet, or behind the wheel of one of the fleet's trucks.
Harrison Oliphant
Managing Director
Harrison joined Pulp Friction straight from studying accountancy at college. Alongside running the business day to day, he oversees the company's accounts, with a particular focus on the purchase ledger, and has picked up the intricacies of the recycling industry fast.
Carol Jenkins
Finance Director
Carol has worked with Steve in various roles for over 19 years, looking after the company's HR and financial systems. She oversees the sales ledger, payroll, credit control and statutory responsibilities to HMRC.
Graeme Coombs
Head of Special Projects
Another lifelong waste paper man, Graeme has previously owned and operated paper recycling companies across London and the South East. He leads new business, tendering, key account management and client information systems — and still gets behind the wheel of a truck when demand calls for it.
Roy Oliphant
Business Development / Depot Manager
With over 25 years' experience in the paper and plastics markets, Roy manages every aspect of the company's busy Erith depot, with quality and compliance front of mind. Alongside Graeme, he also leads on new business.
Faye Merritt
Transport Administrator
Faye has been part of Steve's teams for 19 years and now manages truck and driver data, compliance paperwork and load information. She's usually the first point of contact at Pulp Friction's Erith depot.
Iain Bird
Logistics Manager
Iain looks after the service levels our customers and suppliers expect as standard. A growing fleet and customer base takes precise route planning and transport management to keep things legal, safe and on time.
